Mahesh Babu returns to Hyderabad from Nairobi
Superstar Mahesh Babu is back in Hyderabad after completing a brief schedule in Kenya for Rajamouli’s GlobeTrotter (working title SSMB29). He had flown to Nairobi on August 27, and wrapped up ten days of filming before returning yesterday.
The Kenya schedule will continue in the coming months, with Mahesh expected to shuttle between Hyderabad and Nairobi.
The makers have already revealed that extensive sequences will be shot across Kenya’s national parks as well as at Mount Kilimanjaro. Priyanka Chopra, the film’s leading lady, also participated in this leg of the shoot.
Mounted on a massive budget, “GlobeTrotter” is being positioned as a global release and marks Telugu cinema’s ambitious step into the international arena.
The team is planning to unveil a video glimpse in November 2025, along with the official release date.
