When a filmmaker describes his product as never-seen-before and complex, it naturally piques our interest. The makers of ‘Mangalavaaram’ have gone beyond by claiming that the subject of their film is fresh for the Indian screen itself. At the pre-release event of the upcoming pan-Indian release, Allu Arjun seemed to echo their views by unambiguously describing the rustic thriller as bold. Riveting twists are what we can expect from the female-oriented thriller with 30 characters.
“This movie needed courage and guts on the part of director Bhupathi. He is a filmmaker to watch out for. Swathi Reddy Gunupati, the producer, is a friend of mine. This movie has stirred even Sukumar garu, who appreciated the shocking teaser in my presence the other day,” Bunny said on the occasion. There can’t be a greater endorsement than the one coming from the actor-director duo of the ‘Pushpa’ films.
Bhupathi sounded extremely confident when he said something to the effect that ‘Poonakalu’ are loading in theatres. Will the twists give an adrenaline rush to the audience? Are the host of characters (played by Payal Rajput and others) going to deliver a shocking movie-watching experience? That’s what it appears from what the makers have said. The makers’ sincere appeal was that the spoilers shouldn’t be discussed.
The fine technical quality (thanks to ‘Kantara’ fame Ajaneesh B Loknath and other technicians) is another attribute that is going to enable the audience’s movie-watching experience, the makers suggested.
This film is going to hit the screens on November 17. The prominent Tollywood release is a pan-Indian title with a release planned in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada as well. Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works have mounted the film.
