In the prime of her career, Meena had acted as the main heroine opposite top stars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh in many films. Thanks to the success of the Malayalam version ‘Drushyam’, Meena is now getting to play wife to senior stars like Mohanlal, Venkatesh, and Rajinikanth.

Buzz is that Meena is now being considered as one of the heroines in Balakrishna’s next film to be directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film will have two heroines. Meena will be seen in non-glam roles.
The untitled film will be launched shortly. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling it.
Meena and Balakrishna had paired up in films like ‘Aswamedham’ (1992).
