Mohan Babu to play SVR role in Mahanati
It is official now. Veteran actor Mohan Babu will be playing the role of SV Ranga Rao in the upcoming film Mahanati which is a biopic on actress Savitri.
Mohan Babu will join the shoot in October. He does not have a full fledged role and will be seen in a cameo. SVR was popular during those times and is crucial for this film.
News is that the makers are trying to rope in many star heroes for crucial roles in this film. Already there is a gamut of actors acting in important roles. Keerthy Suresh will essay the role of Savitri. Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Shalini and Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in vital roles in this film which is directed by Nag Ashwin.
