“Dhootha” marked Naga Chaitanya’s OTT debut when it premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2023. Three years later, the supernatural thriller is gearing up for its second season.
Naga Chaitanya today shared pictures from the launch ceremony of “Dhootha Season 2.” Posting the images on Instagram, he wrote, “Auspicious beginnings as I step into the second chapter of Dhootha and my first step as a producer. Onwards and upwards. Here’s to the magic ahead.”
The actor also shared photographs featuring key cast members, including Priya Bhavani Shankar. Parvathy, who played a pivotal role in the first season, is also returning for the sequel.
The shooting has now commenced, although the makers are yet to announce a streaming date for the new season. Vikram Kumar directs the series.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is simultaneously working on his mystic thriller “Vrushakarma,” directed by Karthik Dandu. The film is expected to hit theaters later this year.
