Following the failure of ‘Thank You,’ Naga Chaitanya has become more cautious about scripts. As his current film “Custody,” directed by Venkat Prabhu, nears completion, the young and handsome actor must finalise his next project.
He had previously agreed to work with director Parasuram, but has since changed his mind. According to our sources, Naga Chaitanya was dissatisfied with the script that Parasuram prepared. Even after raising doubts about the story he had written several times, the director is said to have not made many changes.
So, Naga Chaitanya has decided to set it aside for the time being and focus on other projects. Naga Chaitanya is now actively seeking new directors with fresh scripts.

Parasuram, the director of blockbusters like ‘Geetha Govindam,’ was set to begin work on a film called ‘Nageswara Rao,’ starring Naga Chaitanya. The film was officially announced. However, Parasuram dropped this project when he received a call from Mahesh Babu. As a result, he went on to direct ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata,’ a film starring Mahesh Babu. However, the Mahesh Babu-starrer did not go down well with critics. Despite the film’s modest success, it did harm his reputation.
