Narappa will release when the time is right: Makers

Venkatesh starrer ‘Narappa’ has been postponed indefinitely. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on May 14th. But the film stands postponed due to the current pandemic situation.

The makers have now made it official. 

“Narappa is a film that we have made with a lot of dedication and hard work and your love for the film has been overwhelming. However, we are all going through a turbulent time during this unprecedented global pandemic, and hence, keeping in mind the health and safety of our beloved audience, the theatrical release of the film has been postponed,” producers Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh Babu have issued a statement. 

No new release date has been announced. They further added, “We will bring Narappa to you just when the time is right… Until then, be safe, take care of yourself and stay strong.”

‘Narappa’ is the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Asuran’ starring Dhanush. Sreekanth Addala is the director.
