After playing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s wife in ‘Sye Raa’, Nayanathara has now become his on-screen sister. The Lady Superstar wrapped an important shooting schedule for ‘Godfather’ in Hyderabad.

Nayanthara plays Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film. Being directed by Mohan Raja, ‘Godfather’ is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. In the original Malayalam version, Mohanlal and Manju Warrier appeared as brother and sister. Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara are reprising these characters.
Satyadev will play opposite Nayanthara in this political thriller.
Chiranjeevi has multiple projects on the sets. But ‘Godfather’ will be his second release this year after ‘Acharya’.
