“Mookuthi Amman 2,” the sequel to Mookuthi Amman (“Ammoru Thalli” in Telugu), has begun production today. The film’s pooja ceremony was conducted on a set built in Chennai. The set is worth Rs one crore.
The makers have announced that they will produce “Mookuthi Amman 2” on a massive scale, with a budget of Rs 100 crore.
Vels Film International and Ivy Entertainment are producing it. Sundar C is directing it.
Nayanthara will not use the term “Lady Superstar” for this film. She just stated in a letter that she will not use such tags or titles.
Nayanthara stars as the main lead, with other notable performances by Duniya Vijay, Regina Cassandra, Yogi Babu, Urvashi, Abhinaya, Ramachandra Raju, Ajay Ghosh, Singam Puli, Vichu Viswanath, Iniya, and Mynaa Nandini. Hiphop Adhi is writing music for the film.
