Neha Shetty anxious ahead of her first Tamil release
Neha Shetty is hoping to revive her career after going through a slow phase. Although she recently appeared in her first item number in Pawan Kalyan’s “OG,” the song was initially omitted from the theatrical release and added only five days later, which meant it went largely unnoticed and did little to boost her visibility.
Now, she is pinning her hopes on her Tamil debut.
Neha plays one of the female leads in Pradeep Ranganathan’s upcoming film Dude, releasing on October 17.
Pradeep Ranganathan is one of the most promising young stars in Tamil cinema with a strong youth following. Acting opposite him gives Neha confidence, and she believes that if Dude turns out to be a hit, it could open doors for more opportunities in the Tamil industry.
It is worth recalling that Neha gained popularity in Telugu cinema with the youthful entertainer DJ Tillu. Now, Dude belongs to a similar genre. And she is hoping history repeats itself.
