Niharika Konidela to back a female director
Actress-turned-producer Niharika Konidela is making bold strides in the film industry with her production banner, Pink Elephant Pictures. After the success of her debut production, Committee Kurrollu, she is now set to produce another film, this time introducing a female director.
Industry buzz suggests that Manasa Sharma, who has previously worked in web dramas, will helm Niharika’s second film. This project will mark Manasa’s feature film directorial debut, adding a fresh perspective to Telugu cinema.
Manasa Sharma earlier worked on Pink Elephant Pictures’ web series “Oka Chinna Family Story” (Zee5) as a Creative Director and “Bench Life” (Sony LIV) as a Director.
Following her divorce, Niharika has shifted her focus entirely to her career, actively producing new content and supporting emerging talent. With her latest venture, she continues to champion diverse voices in filmmaking.
