Nikhil’s ‘Swayambhu’ now aims April 2026 release

We have already informed our readers that Nikhil Siddhartha’s “Swayambhu” will not be releasing in February, as initially planned. The film has officially been postponed from its earlier release date of February 13.

The latest buzz suggests that the makers are now eyeing an April 2026 release. Once the date is finalized, an official announcement regarding the revised release plan is expected.

Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, with Tagore Madhu presenting, “Swayambhu” is a VFX-heavy project that involves extensive CGI work.

 To ensure top-notch visual quality, the team is not taking any risks and does not want to rush the theatrical release. This careful approach is said to be the primary reason for the delay.

In the film, Nikhil essays the role of a legendary warrior, with Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh playing the female leads opposite him.
