‘Drushyam 2’ is all set to be premiered on Disney+Hotstar. The makers have sold the direct-digital rights to Hotstar long back. However, the producers for a brief period thought of heading the theatrical route. Now, they have changed their mind and are going with the original plan.
‘Drushyam 2’ stars Venkatesh and Meena. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film wrapped its shooting part and post-production work.
With no clarity about ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh, producer Suresh Babu had dropped his plans for the theatrical release. OTT release is the best option since the original Malayalam movie also premiered on Amazon Prime skipping the theatrical window.
‘Drushyam 2’ is a thriller and sequel to the super hit, Drushyam. The second part of the Malayalam version won a great response. Hence, Jeethu Joseph, who had directed the Malayalam, came on board for the Telugu sequel as well. Anup Rubens has composed the music.
The thriller also stars Nadhiya, Naresh, and Esther Anil as other important characters.
