Ajay Bhupathi about Mangalavaaram

Ajay Bhupathi made a stunning debut as a director with “RX 100”. While the film became a huge hit and won him good praise, he also faced criticism for excessive skin show in the film. But in ‘Mangalavaaram,’ his new film scheduled for release on November 17, you won’t find skin show.

Payal Rajput plays the lead role.

“It’s a character-driven, plot-driven film. It has two S’s going for it: suspense and scares. The horror effect has been ensured through sounds  and other technical effects,” the movie’s director says.

Payal Rajput and photography are two P’s he’s counting on to give the audience a unique movie-watching experience. “Payal was eager to take on the challenging role. It’s a daring role that’s devoid of vulgarity. There is no exposing from her. ‘Mangalavaaram’ is dominated by emotions and Goosebumps,” Ajay Bhupathi stressed.

Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma are the producers. “The. producers believed in the subject. We were absolutely certain of the film’s potential. The Rs 20 crore budget was a logical extension of that confidence,” the director mentioned.
