No truth to new project buzz, says Puri Jagannadh’s team

Director Puri Jagannadh is currently busy with his pan-India film starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Tentatively considered as #PuriSethupathi, buzz suggests that the official title will be “Slumdog,” which is expected to be announced soon.

Amid reports that he has already started work on another project, Puri’s team issued a clarification, dismissing the rumors.

The statement reads: “Dashing Director #PuriJagannadh is currently focused solely on his upcoming project #PuriSethupathi. All the rumors floating around about his other projects are completely false and baseless. Don’t believe or spread such rumors.”

The film “Slumdog” also features Tabu and Samyuktha in key roles, with music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar of Animal fame.
