Obscene lyrics row: Nora Fatehi’s KD Hindi song deleted

The makers of “KD: The Devil,” a pan-Indian Kannada film starring Dhruva Sarja, have landed in controversy after the release of a special song featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt.
The song, which was released in multiple languages, has drawn sharp criticism for its Hindi version. Netizens flagged the song for its double-meaning and suggestive lyrics, triggering widespread backlash on social media. Many lines drew criticism for their innuendo.
Following the outrage, the makers have deleted the Hindi version of the song from YouTube. Interestingly, the versions in other languages continue to remain available online.
Adding to the curiosity, the controversial Hindi track was sung by a Telugu singer, who is known for singing folk songs.
“KD: The Devil” is being promoted as a pan-Indian project and is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam. However, the controversy has forced the team to take quick corrective action for the Hindi version.
The makers are now planning to revise the Hindi lyrics and re-upload a modified version of the song soon.
