Payal Ghosh joins a political party

Actress Payal Ghosh who has been hitting the headlines lately has now stepped into politics. She has joined the Republican Party of India (Athawale) on Monday.

Soon after joining the party, she was appointed as vice president of the party’s women’s wing. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and the party’s chief thanked her for joining the party.

Payal Ghosh recently accused Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of rape and made several allegations. Payal Ghosh acted as the heroine in Manchu Manoj’s ‘Prayanam’ and did a role in NTR’s ‘Oosaravelli’.
