Peddi: Producers announce June 4 as new release date

The official release date for Ram Charan’s “Peddi” has been finalized. Interestingly, while director Buchi Babu Sana had announced June 25 as the release date just a couple of days ago, the producers have now confirmed June 4, 2026 as the new date.

The team held a press meet today to make the announcement.

The film’s shooting has been fully wrapped up, prompting the makers to lock and reveal the new release date.

“Peddi” features Ram Charan as a village sportsman and is set in the Uttarandhra region. The period drama is said to blend emotional storytelling with action, set against a sports backdrop. Ram Charan has undergone a significant physical transformation, appearing in two distinct looks. A previously released glimpse showcased his rugged avatar as a village wrestler, which received strong appreciation.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with music composed by AR Rahman.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is expected to ramp up its promotions following the release date announcement.
