The filming of “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan, is getting bigger and grander with each schedule. Director Buchi Babu Sana has already brought on top talents like Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman and ace cinematographer Rathnavelu on the technical front.
Now, he has roped in Sham Kaushal, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated stunt directors, whose acclaimed work in films like Krrish, Bajirao Mastani, and Dangal earned him immense respect.
Sham Kaushal is currently filming a crucial, high-intensity fight sequence featuring Ram Charan alongside several fighters. While Sham Kaushal is choreographing the action, Navakanth is serving as the stunt master.
Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who plays a key role in the film, is also participating in the ongoing schedule. For this sequence, production designer Avinash Kolla has created a massive special set at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad.
Peddi’s big scale
“Peddi” features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and also stars Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma in pivotal roles. The first single, “Chikiri Chikiri,” went viral, adding to the film’s buzz.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, “Peddi” is being mounted on a massive scale and is slated for release on March 27, 2026.
