Peddi vs The Paradise: One will back off

The filming of Ram Charan’s “”Peddi” and Nani’s “The Paradise” is progressing swiftly. Interestingly, the makers of both films have been promoting them for months, even though the releases are locked for March 2026. Since both films are targeting a wider market, the teams are carefully strategizing their early promotions.
But the big question is: will they really clash? Competing head-to-head could dent the grand openings. Our sources indicate that one of them, most likely Nani’s “The Paradise”, will withdraw from the March 2026 slot.
Currently, “Peddi” has completed nearly 50 percent of its shoot. The remaining schedule will be wrapped up by February 2026. Director Buchi Babu and his editor are simultaneously working on the cut, while AR Rahman has already recorded two songs and is busy with the background score. The team is confident of arriving on the announced date, March 27, 2026.
Ram Charan, who plays a sportsman, is banking on this film to end his dry run after “Acharya” and “Game Changer.”
On the other hand, “The Paradise” is lagging behind. The shoot has not even crossed 30 percent, and director Srikanth Odela needs to race against time to meet the March 26, 2026 deadline. A postponement looks inevitable, and clarity is expected in November with an official announcement.
Nani, however, is leaving no stone unturned. He is planning to rope in a Hollywood marketing agency to push the film aggressively. Playing “Jadal” in this period drama, Nani strongly believes the role will propel him into the top league.
