
The 1996 romantic musical ‘Pelli Sandadi’ was a turning point in actor Srikanth’s career. Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, the film was a smashing hit and established Srikanth as a bankable star. It was also remade in Hindi and Tamil languages.
Nearly after 25 years of its release, the movie is getting a sequel. Srikanth’s son Roshan will play the male lead. Roshan already made debut as a teenage star in “Nirmala Convent” three years ago.
Titled ‘PelliSandaD’, this sequel will be directed by Gowri Ronanki, and K Raghavendra Rao will supervise the direction.
K Krishna Mohan Rao and Arka Media Works will bankroll the romantic entertainer.
The film lead is yet to be finalized. The regular shoot begins soon.
