Percentage system: Dil Raju assures smooth release for Peddi
Producer Dil Raju said the exhibitors’ demand for implementing the percentage system in single-screen theaters has been received positively. Producers and exhibitors held a key meeting in Hyderabad on Friday to discuss the issue.
“We have decided to implement the percentage system. But before that, we will form a committee that will discuss how to move forward. We have A, B, and C centers. How the percentage system should be implemented in various centers will be discussed by the committee,” Dil Raju said after the meeting.
He also clarified that there would be no hurdles for the release of “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan.
“‘Peddi’ will release in the most healthy way,” he added, implying that the film will not face any release-related issues amid the ongoing exhibitors’ discussions.
