Pooja Hegde is currently busy with her Tamil and Bollywood commitments. She doesn’t have a single Telugu film in her kitty right now, but she is determined to shine in both Tamil and Hindi cinema. The countdown for the release of “Retro” has already begun.
Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Tamil superstar Suriya, is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2025.
During a recent event, when asked by the media about the possibility of her being part of a Sridevi biopic, she responded with interest.
Pooja mentioned that she had already danced in the remix version of the late Sridevi’s popular song “Velluvache Godari” in “Gaddalakonda Ganesh”, released in 2019. She had recreated Sridevi’s iconic dance moves and look in the modern rendition of the song.
Given that experience, Pooja Hegde said that if she gets the opportunity to play Sridevi in the planned biopic, she would not hesitate.
