Pooja Hegde’s popularity cuts across regions and film industries. She is a true pan-India star with the craze in Telugu, Tamil, and Bollywood industries. Pooja Hegde is now acting opposite Salman Khan in his Bollywood movie ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. She also has Ranveer Singh’s ‘Cirkus up for release.
But Pooja Hegde is honest enough to admit that the Telugu film industry paved way for success. “I struggled a lot initially. I had seen flops. There was no work for many months. But one film worked for me in Telugu and that changed everything,” she said.
It was Harish Shankar’s ‘DJ Duvvada Jagannadham’ that gave her first break. Then, Trivikram’s ‘Aravinda Sametha’ made her a star. She is now the reigning queen of Tollywood. Despite flops like ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Beast’, and ‘Acharya’, her craze has not diminished a bit.
Very soon, Pooja Hegde will be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in ‘JGM’ and Mahesh Babu – Trivikram’s film.
