Pooja Hegde earned crores of rupees due to her successful career. While she had a a disastrous start in Bollywood and a flop career in Tamil Nadu, it was Telugu directors who gave life to her as an actress.
After acting in films like “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham” and “Aravinda Sametha,” Pooja Hegde became a successful actress and went on to act in numerous films in Telugu; thereafter, her career got resurrected in Tamil and Hindi.
Still, she termed “Ala Vaikunthapurramulo,” one of her biggest blockbusters, as a Tamil film in a recent interview. The Telugu folks trolled her mercilessly for not knowing the difference between Telugu and Tamil.
The actress now admits that it was a mistake. She said she always shows her gratitude to Telugu cinema.
