Fauji

Prabhas and director Hanu Raghavapudi have joined forces for a period action drama set in 1940s. The makers officially announced the film’s title: Fauji. Today on the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday, the tittle was revealed along with a striking title poster.

The poster features a close-up of Prabhas’s intense look, partially veiled by a flag, with the tagline: “A Battalion Who Fights Alone.”

The film follows the story of a soldier who bravely fought against the powerful British Army during the pre-Independence era.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, “Fauji” is currently in production. Social media star Imanvi will be making her acting debut opposite Prabhas in this ambitious period drama. Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and Bhanu Chandar appear in key roles.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, “Fauji” brings together top technicians including Sudeep Chatterjee (ISC) handling cinematography, Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the score, Anil Vilas Jadhav in charge of production design, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao overseeing editing.

The makers have not specified any release plan yet.
