Prab has and director Prashanth Neel have joined hands for a gangster thriller. Titled ‘Salaar’, the film has already wrapped a major schedule before the lockdown was imposed.
The makers of ‘Salaar’ have already made it clear that the action-drama would hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages in April 2022. Now that, the shootings have been stopped due to the second wave of coronavirus, the film will have to go for rescheduling of its shooting plans. Will Neel push the release of ‘Salaar’ to the second half of 2022?
Sources say the film will stick to its original release plans.
Neel is confident of wrapping the movie by February next year even if the lockdown continues for another month or so. He will speed up the shooting once the pandemic situation comes under control.
Shruti Haasan has been paired up with Prabhas in the film. Produced by Hombale Films, ‘Salaar’ is one of the costliest productions.
