Actress Preity Zinta strongly responded to the allegations made by the Congress party, which claimed that she was promoting the BJP on social media in exchange for writing off her Rs 18 crore loan.
The Kerala Congress’s account on X.com revealed that Preity Zinta had given over her social media handles to the BJP.
“She gave her social media accounts to BJP and got 18 Cr written off and the bank collapsed last week. Depositors are on the streets for their money,” the Kerala Congress accused in a post.
To this, Preity Zinta replied, and she stated that more than a decade ago, she had fully repaid the entire amount. She termed the allegations against her completely baseless.
Preity Zinta, who acted in many Telugu films including “Raja Kumardu” and “Premante Idea,” has now settled in the USA with her husband and children. She recently celebrated her 50th birthday.
