Priyadarshan's daughter finalised for Akhil?
Kalyani, daughter of famous director Priyadarshan and yesteryears actress Lissy, is debuting as actress. According to our sources, she has been cast opposite Akhil Akkineni in his second movie that is being directed by Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ and ’24’.
After short-listing several new actresses, Vikram Kumar took in Kalyani as heroine for his untitled love story. She may sign on the dotted line shortly. Official confirmation is awaited.
Kalyani’s mother Lissy played as heroine in 80’s and 90’s Telugu films including popular hit Suman starrer ‘Aatma Bandham’.
Vikram Kumar’s film has already completed two major schedules and is now progressing in Hyderabad. The love story is being produced by Annapurna Studios. Two titles – ‘Ekkada Ekkada Undo Taraka’ and ‘Malli Kaluddam’ are being considered for it.
