Priyamani to play the antagonist in Bollywood biggie

Priyamani has built a reputation as one of the most versatile actresses in Indian cinema. After playing leading roles in several successful Telugu and Tamil films, including “Yamadonga” and “Paruthiveeran,” she has successfully reinvented herself with strong character-driven roles.

Her career received a fresh boost with the web series “The Family Man,” in which she played Manoj Bajpayee’s wife. The show’s popularity introduced her to a new generation of viewers and opened up more opportunities across languages.
Now, in her 40s, Priyamani is set to explore a completely different space.

According to reports in the Bollywood media, she has signed Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy entertainer “Golmaal 5.” Interestingly, she will reportedly be seen in a negative role, playing the film’s main antagonist.
The film is said to feature both Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in lead roles.

Although Priyamani continues to receive substantial offers in Telugu cinema, her decision to take on a full-fledged villain’s role in a high-profile Bollywood entertainer has come as a surprise. If confirmed, it will mark one of the most significant departures from her usual on-screen image.
