Producer Dil Raju who had contracted COVID-19 last week has recovered from it. He is back to work. Having tested negative, he has attended the press meet of ‘Vakeel Saab’ which took place today.
He thanked the fans and audiences for making it a successful film amid a pandemic situation. “These are tough times. Despite the COVID-19 situation, Vakeel Saab has completed the first week and we have received tremendous response especially from the women. The film stood among the great films we made on our banner. I am thankful for the audience. My dream of making a memorable film with Pawan Kalyan has been fulfilled,” Dil Raju said.
“Overcoming many hurdles and tough situations itself is a great success. I am very happy on the economics front as well given the pandemic times,” he mentioned.
Dil Raju also said it was a conscious decision not to dilute the content of the movie in the second half for commercial reasons. He refused to talk about collection numbers.
Dil Raju has also confirmed that Sriram Venu of ‘Vakeel Saab’ will direct his next film ‘Icon’ with Allu Arjun.
