Producer Sahu Garapati takes dig at TG Vishwa Prasad

Producer Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens banner took a dig at fellow producer TG Vishwa Prasad during the trailer launch of his upcoming film “Kishkindhapuri,” starring Bellamkonda Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran.

“Kishkindhapuri” had locked its release date as September 12 well in advance. However, Teja Sajja’s “Mirai,” originally scheduled for another date, was recently rescheduled to release on the same day.

When asked about the clash, Sahu Garapati asserted that he was the first to announce the date. “When he (Vishwa Prasad) didn’t consult me before shifting his film’s release date, why should I consult him?” he quipped.

Responding to a question on whether “Kishkindhapuri” might lose out at the box office due to the competition, Sahu Garapati retorted with a touch of satire: “On September 12, we’ll know which film is actually suffering.”

Despite the clash, he expressed strong confidence that “Kishkindhapuri” would strike a chord with audiences and perform well at the box office.
