“Pushpa 2” has done massive theatrical business. The producers sold the distribution rights in Andhra Pradesh to various distributors for near-record prices. To recover the money, the distributors need a massive hike in ticket prices.
The latest buzz is that some distributors proposed selling tickets for Rs 300 in single theaters in the first weekend. This has never happened before. Given the fact that producers Naveen and Ravi of Mythri Movie Makers have special and strong connections with the Andhra Pradesh government, the distributors are hoping that they can get such a government order (GO) for a massive hike in ticket prices.
Being directed by Sukumar, “Pushpa 2” is the second part of “Pushpa.” The film’s shooting is in the final stages. Recently, the trailer in Patna received a massive response.
Allu Arjun is hoping to crack the big market with this film.
