A R Rahman to produce Baahubali writer's next!

K Vijayendra Prasad didn’t write the story of ‘Srivalli’ without an inspiration.  There is an emotional turmoil behind it.  “I had an honest and ever-so-helpful friend by name Ramesh.  After we went our ways and I came to Hyderabad, I couldn’t be in touch with him.  I would remember him often.  But a day before Ganesh Chaturthi in 2010, Ramesh occupied my mind space so much.  Two years later when I went in search of him in Vijayawada, I learn from his mother that Ramesh died a day before Ganesh Chaturthi in 2010.  ‘Srivalli’ was born out of such a tragedy,” the ‘Baahubali’ writer explains.

It seems there is a lot of telepathy involved, but there must be something more?  “It is a triangular love story.  A routinely told point becomes a thriller in my movie,” Prasad avers.

Revealing that  he wrote ‘Manikarnika’ only after extracting a promise from its producers that Krish would direct it, Prasad confirms once again that he is penning the extension of ‘Mudhalvan’ (‘Oke Okkadu’) for Bollywood.

Saying that seeing Rajamouli direct the Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan duo is one of his wishes, Prasad reveals that AR Rahman recently requested him to develop a story line of his into a full-fledged story.  Rahman will produce the movie.
