Radhe Shyam fails to pass Monday’s test

Radhe Shyam

It’s the end of the road for Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’. The love story, which was universally panned by critics, has failed to pass the crucial Monday test at the box office. ‘Radhe Shyam’ had raked in abysmally low numbers on Monday. In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the collections are too low to be considered.

This indicates that the audience has rejected the film.

‘Radhe Shyam’ had poor writing from Radha Krishna Kumar. Many famous actors got a raw deal. An actor like Murali Sharma appeared in three or four scenes without dialogues. Such clueless writing and handling were done by Radha Krishna Kumar, who worked on the film for nearly four years.

It is a consecutive second flop for UV Creations. But ‘Saaho’ had a good run in Hindi and it collected equally good money in Telugu states despite flop talk. On the other hand, ‘Radhe Shyam’ is a non-starter in other languages.

Trade pundits say ‘Radhe Shyam’ will become one of the biggest disasters in Prabhas’s career.
