Rajamouli, Mahesh, and Priyanka hint about starting the shoot

SSMB29 Filming

It is finally happening. The filming of Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu’s untitled globe-trotting adventure is about to commence. The shooting is expected to begin next week.

Rajamouli released a short video clip of himself in front of a lion billboard, implying that filming on his adventure thriller will begin in Kenya.

As soon as Rajamouli shared this video on Instagram, Mahesh Babu responded with his “Pokiri” dialogue: “Okkasaari commit ayithe naa maata nene vinanu.” Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Finally.”

Namrata, Mahesh Babu’s wife, posted emojis of claps. Thus, it is official about the film’s shooting.

Rajamouli and his cousin S.S. Kanchi reportedly wrote the script based on Wilbur Smith’s novels. The story involves animals and adventures. Rajamouli has always been fascinated by protagonists fighting with lions. Many of his films featured such sequences.

Kenyan forests will serve as the backdrop for much of the story.

Priyanka Chopra recently came down to Hyderabad to complete her look test and script reading session. KL Narayan will produce the film on a massive scale. MM Keeravani is the music director. PS Vinod will handle the cinematography.
