Rajinikanth’s 169th film announced

Superstar Rajinikanth is getting back to work. His recent film, Annaatthe, didn’t set cash registers ringing in Telugu states and other places. However, the film did impressive business in Tamilnadu. So, Sun Pictures is bankrolling another film with Rajinikanth.

Director Nelson Dilip Kumar, director of Siva Karthikeyan starrer ‘Doctor’ and Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Beast, will helm this project. The production company unveiled a video announcing the project.

Touted to be an entertainer, it will be the 169th film in Rajinikanth’s career. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music.
