The untitled film, currently referred to as #Thalaivar170, is Rajinikanth’s 170th film as an actor.
Interestingly, the producers have assembled a cast of well-known actors from various industries for this massive film.
Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, Malayalam industry versatile actor Fahadh Faasil, and Telugu star Rana Daggubati all play important roles in this new film. They are not appearing as guest actors, but in full-fledged roles. It must be remembered that Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar made guest appearances in “Jailer”.
The female cast includes Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. The film, produced by Lyca Productions, is set to begin rolling soon. TJ Gnanavel of “Jai Bhim” fame is directing it.
