Ram Gopal Varma makes sensitive appeal
Ram Gopal Varma’s Facebook post against SIT officer Akun Sabharwal drew flak from the people. Later he clarified what he actually meant. He also apologised if anyone hurt by his Facebook post.
He made some sensational comments against the on-going drugs case in Hyderabad.
He said he is only appealing that the SIT team should depute an officer to brief the media in proper way as news channels and newspapers in speculative drive. They should condemn the speculative reports when the investigation is still under progress.
He also stated that the family members of celebrities are in deep pain with speculative reports in the media even though the officials didn’t say a single word openly. He faulted comments of R. Chandravadan, Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise who said that RGV’s comments are demoralising them. “This is a sham for a democratic country like ours when a high-ranking officer gets demoralised by criticism of a person like me,” he said.
Finally, RGV said that he is not all questioning the team’s integrity. He only requested to respect the celebrities and the movie industry.
