Ramya Krishna to reprise Manju Warrier’s role?

Megastar Chiranjeevi will act in the Telugu remake of ‘Lucifer’ reprising Mohanlal’s role. The original Malayalam movie was a money-spinner. 

The Telugu version will be launched next year. VV Vinayak will direct it while NV Prasad may bankroll it. 

The film also needs top actors to essay the key roles since. Vinayak is said to have approached Ramya Krishna to essay the role, which was played by Manju Warrier in the Malayalam version. Since Manju Warrier is not familiar with the Telugu audiences, he wants to cast Ramya Krishna.

The film is likely to commence once Chiranjeevi begins the shoot of ‘Vedhalam’ remake in the direction of Meher Ramesh.
