Dulquer Salmaan’s “Kaantha” hit the screens today, and actor–producer Rana Daggubati is delighted with the audience’s response. Speaking at the post-release press meet, Rana said the overwhelming reactions have brought him “a lot of joy” and added that he is proud to have made a “top-class film.”
“The response from the audience to Kaantha has given me immense joy. Especially the performances have received tremendous appreciation. Dulquer has delivered the finest performance of his career. We’re getting wonderful feedback. Kaantha is a genre-bending film,” Rana said.
He also noted that appearing on screen after a long gap made the applause for his character even more gratifying.
Explaining why he avoids routine commercial films, Rana said, “I chose a different path right from the beginning. I want to make films I haven’t seen before. That’s what excites me.”

Actress Bhagyashri Borse also expressed her happiness. “I am very happy with the response. Kaantha’s reception has given me a lot of joy. Though both the films I’ve done have a cinema backdrop, each one is unique in terms of story,” she said.
Her next release will be “Andhra King Taluka”, set for November 28, 2025.
