Rana Daggubati to play the villain in ‘Mirai 2’

“Mirai” opened to positive reviews and strong box office performance worldwide. The Teja Sajja-starrer successfully blends mythology, history, and superhero elements, earning unanimous praise from audiences and critics alike.

At the film’s conclusion, a scene hints at the sequel titled “Mirai: Jaithraya.” The second installment will see Rana Daggubati stepping into an evil avatar as the main antagonist.

Interestingly, in the first part, Manchu Manoj portrayed the primary villain, but in the sequel, Rana Daggubati takes over the mantle of the central evil force.

Rana Daggubati, acclaimed for his powerful villainous performance as Bhallaladeva in Baahubali, is expected to bring the same intensity to this role. Karthik Ghattamaneni will direct the film, while Teja Sajja reprises his role as the superhero protagonist.
