Of all of this year’s Padma Award winners, Raveena Tandon is by far the most unexpected. The Padma Shree award will be given to this Bollywood star.
The 50-year-old actress is mostly known for her glamorous roles in Bollywood films. She has recently appeared in the blockbuster “KGF” films.
She has starred in numerous blockbuster Bollywood movies, including Dilwale, Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Ziddi, Anari No. 1, Shool, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Andaz Apna Apna, and Aks.
The performance she gave in “Daman” (2001) earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress. She also made her first digital appearance in the crime thriller web series Aranyak.
Tandon is also an environmentalist. Her husband Anil Tandon is a famous distributor and producer.
She has appeared in four Telugu movies: “Bangaru Bullodu” with Balakrishna, “Ratha Saradhi”, “Akasha Veedhilo” with Nagarjuna, and “Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda” with Mohan Babu.
