Reba Monica John says she was disappointed with this director
Reba Monica John looks quite beautiful. Although she married her boyfriend and settled into her personal life, she continues to play lead roles in Telugu and Tamil films. While she mostly gets main heroine roles opposite young stars in Telugu, she is often offered only supporting characters in Tamil.
To be part of superstar Rajinikanth’s movie, she agreed to play one of actor Sathyaraj’s daughters in Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. She had hoped that, even as Sathyaraj’s daughter, her role would carry some prominence. However, after the film’s release, she was left totally disappointed.
Her character appeared only three or four times, with virtually no memorable moments, dialogues, or importance to the story. She felt the role was no better than what an ‘extra’ would play.
No wonder she expressed disappointment with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, feeling she was completely misled about the scope of this project and her role.
Reba Monica John appeared opposite Sree Vishnu in “Samajavaragamana.” She recently Swathi Reddy song in blockbuster “Mad Sqaure”. She will next be seen in Thalapathy Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan.”
