Top director Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan as the freedom warriors postponed its release indefinitely. The film was originally planned for July 30, 2020 release but it was first pushed to January 8, 2021. But due to the corona pandemic, the shoot has been stalled for the last three months. Hence the release has been pushed.
The latest target Rajamouli has fixed is July 30, 2021. The month holds sentimental value to the director as some of the biggest hits in his career that include ‘Simhadri’, ‘Magadheera’, ‘Eega’, ‘Baahubali’ are July releases. No wonder then that it makes sense to release ‘RRR’ on 30th July 2021 as it got postponed from January 8.
This also eases pressure on Rajamouli to shoot the film now. He can now wait for another two or three months to resume the shooting. Hyderabad has become one of the epicenters of corona cases in India. So, stars are refusing to join the sets now.
‘RRR’ is being produced by Danayya with a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. It has planned as a multilingual Pan-India project.
