Sai Tej will appear as a district collector in his next film. He is playing an IAS officer named Panja Abhiram in director Deva Katta’s new film, Republic. The political thriller will hit the theaters on 1st October.
‘Republic’ was scheduled to hit the screens in June. Due to the second wave of COVID-19, it got postponed, and the makers have chosen 1st October, a day before Gandhi Jayanthi.
‘Republic’ also features Ramya Krishna in a key role. Mani Sharma is providing the music. Produced by Bhagavan and Pulla Rao, the political thriller has generated good buzz with its teaser.
