According to reports, “Salaar,” which is being released in two parts, also has a mother-son theme. Prabhas is said to be playing a character who is torn between his promise to his mother and his loyalty to his friend. So, “Salaar” follows in the footsteps of Prashanth Neel’s previous films in terms of setting and style.
The first installment of “Salaar” titled will be released in theaters on September 28, 2023. The female lead is played by Shruti Haasan. The teaser drew a lot of positive response.
Prithviraj Sukumar is said to be playing Prabhas’s friend turned foe.
