There have been reports that Samantha would be stepping in Nani’s new film. Titled ‘Dasara’, the film was recently launched. Keerthy Suresh has already signed the project to play the female lead.
The talk that Samantha playing a crucial role is not true, a source informed us. She will not agree to play a second lead either. ‘Dasara’ is set in Kothagudem in Telangana. Nani will mouth the dialogues in the Telangana accent for the first time. As of now, Keerthy Suresh is the only actress on board for the project.
On the other hand, Samantha is playing the main lead in a film to be directed by newcomers. Krishna Prasad is bankrolling the project.
She has also signed a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. These two films will start rolling shortly.
