Many people speculated that Samantha would make a comeback in “Pushpa 2” by appearing before Sreeleela’s special song, Kissik. People speculated that Samantha would use this song to announce her intention to continue acting in Telugu films. But it didn’t happen.
Samantha didn’t act in “Pushpa 2,” and the song was solely performed by Sreeleela. Samantha did the item song in the first part of “Pushpa.”
Thus, Samantha completely missed the year 2024, without appearing in any film. She, however, did appear in a web series, Citadel Honey Bunny, which received a lukewarm response.
She has not yet announced her new film for 2025. Earlier this year, she made a big announcement about being a producer. She said she would act in and produce a film named Maa Inti Bangaram, but the movie was not launched even eight months after the announcement.
