Samantha to focus on two new movies
Much before lockdown, Samantha has signed two films – a film in the direction of ‘Game Over’ director Ashwin Saravanan, and a multi-starrer in the direction of Vignesh Shivan.
‘Game Over’ director Ashwin’s movie was to commence the regular shoot in April but it has now been postponed due to coronavirus outbreak. This is a multi-lingual woman-centric film to be produced by Sony Pictures. Samantha has signed this project last year itself and she also informed the media during ‘Jaanu’ promotions.
Vignesh Shivan’s film is also Tamil – Telugu bilingual that stars Nayanthara and Samantha. The combination of two female superstars is the main drawing factor of this movie. It will also resume the shoot later this year.
Besides these movies, she has not signed any new project.
During this quarantine period, she has been staying at her home with husband Naga Chaitanya in Hyderabad and regularly posting her urban farming pics, her pet dog’s fun games.
